At your age, prolonged menstrual bleeding could be complex and taking combined contraceptive pill for stopping the bleeding is not a good idea. You need to see a gynecologist for a thorough evaluation.

I have been taking Triphasil contraceptive foe many years. In May I skipped the red pills & continued the pack so that I could skip my period for religious fasting purposes. I continued onto a new pack & took the red pills, but still no period.
