Having 3 members of a family tree die in separate car wrecks doesn't make the issue hereditary. The suspicion of and investigation for a hereditary linkage involves detecting an issue in tens of thousands of family groupings to come up with an assumption. When it does not occur more than sporadically, the linkage is not assumed.
