Sperm must enter the inside of a womans' vagina to travel to the Fallopian tubes where conception occurs. Fresh sperm can be injected into that space in humans without a sexual act (artificial insemination) like they breed horses. The cited idea that sperm placed outside causes pregnancy is false.

Most of the info people get from the internet is garbage- so if that is your source suggest disregard it and you will stop from being confused. Sperms have to enter the vagina to cause pregnancy
