Very low risk. Many herpes experts have never seen a patient who had genital HSV1 from vaginal sex; all cases are from oral sex. Genital HSV1 usually recurs infrequently and the virus is rarely present without an outbreaks. (Unlike genital HSV2.) Usually the chances of males getting herpes from females are a lot less. It also depends on many other things like personal immunity, use of condom, whether the partner is symptomatic or on meds. This is why an exact figure is hard to give. Hope you stay well. Good luck
