I get cold sores. i didn't realize i was getting one just below my mouth. my daughter tried to kiss me but i was like no mouth only cheek. she skimmed my lips basically didn't come in contact with sore. chances of her getting cold sores ?

This particular contact was very low risk. Usually it takes more direct exposure to transmit HSV. Avoid direct kissing and use careful hygiene (hand washing etc) during outbreaks. Also consider treatment: oral herpes outbreaks can be stopped by treatment at first sign of outbreak (one large dose of valacyclovir) to speed healing and likely help protect contacts. Discuss with your doctor.
