: If by "abnormal" is meant that your periods are not 28-32 days apart but unpredictable, delays in ovulation can be caused by stress (emotional, school, heavy exercise), which will delay the onset of menses. If you have been "sexually active", and pregnancy may have occurred, see your GYN physician for guidance and other testing.
