Maybe: Snoring is one of the symptoms of sleep apnea. You do not get the deep, restful, refreshing sleep that everyone needs. Alcohol and smoking can be contributing factors. You need to talk to your doctor about a sleep study to find out if you do have sleep apnea and then receive treatment which can involve an oral appliance by a dentist trained in dental sleep medicine, surgery, CPAP or a combination.
