Acts hungry??? Babies thrive on oral gratification and will suck on anything you put near their mouth. At that age they may not be capable of getting their fingers up to suck but they would. Pacifiers are made to help satisfy their need for oral stimulation. I think you are confusing self-entertainment for hunger. It takes a good 3 hours for the stomach to process a feed & empty.
