My husband who is in his 30's has very small bumps on his back. when they pop chalky white stuff comes out in small portions, but it has a really strong odder. what could it be. (hes very active and i don't know if its maybe caused by sweat?

From the description you stated: mostly skin related sebaceous gland inflammation related. Instead of squeezing, wash skin with antimicrobial soap with warm water, and apply topical antibiotic ointment for few days. If no improvement, seek medical doctor advice and treatment.
