How to get over gastritis lasting for weeks with diarrhea after taking antibiotics also taking prilosec for stomach not helping?

Sometimes the antibiotic gets rid of the bacteria normally in the intestines. This can lead to diarrhea. A medicine to replace the bacteria, like Culturelle, should be added. This is over the counter and a pharmacist can help locate that or a similar med. If this doesn’t help, you should see a GII doctor as they may need to do an endoscopy to look into your stomach for diagnosis/treatment.
