Go to drugs.com and look up all side effects noted for your particular med. Normal would be if it occurred in 95% folks like you.

It may or may not be a side effect, and the best way to objectify is to put the nortryptyline on hold for several weeks. Years ago, I used this agent for migraine prevention, but now in 2023, there are numerous far better prophylactic approaches, both OTC and prescription. Nortryptyline would not be my choice these days! Get a second opinion.

I am on 20 mg nortriptyline daily for migraine headaches. It has raised by resting heart rate from 52 bpm to 72 bpm. Unsurprisingly I am a distance runner, and it seems as if it is significantly slowing my pace. Does that make sense?
