A member asked:

Mildly elevated alt (33 u/l, range 6-29) plus a past ultrasound shows coarse echotexture of the liver, should i be concerned?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, your result is in the normal range of 4-36 normal values. Abstain from alcohol. Wish you good health!
