A member asked:

Just curious.my calves(especially right) bend a little outwards(but my knees seem straight). can i fix this without surgery?can this be caused by me sitting on my leg while on a chair since i was a child?

The important question should be … am I experiencing pain? If the answer is no, then my recommendation is to live with what you have. You can always make things worse with surgery. What is important is the alignment of the thigh muscles and the function of the knee cap or patella. This is biomechanics. Pronation and supination of the foot can also affect this knee function. Good luck to you.
