A member asked:

If i had a clot in my leg , would the pain be constant? i know it's usually supposed to be worse when standing, but would it still hurt at rest too? would pain be gone on some days? no health issues, non smoker/ drinker, always thin, not on any meds?

Pain from either a venous or arterial clot (deep venous thrombosis or arterial thrombosis, respectively) is not likely to come and go. For DVT, the main symptom usually is swelling below the level of the clot, not pain. For either one, standing often makes no difference. You'll need to see a doctor to work this out. Good luck.
