Is norlevo levonorgestrel pill supposed to delay ovulation or is it supposed to stop an egg from fully developing? or is it both? im just kind of confused on this matter. if i take it 5 days before ovulation, what would happen? thanks prior?

Emergency contraception is used to delay or prevent ovulation. It is not a good primary method for birth control as it only reduces the risk of pregnancy by about 70%. Condoms or other forms of birth control are more effective
