Family physicians study under urologists for part of their training and they see many of the issues the specialists focus on. If you want confirmation of this opinion or suspect there is another answer, go see a urologist. Many health plans cover such consultations without a PCP referral, or just ask your doc for one.

If he examined you and you now do not have the disorder. If you still have it he is obviously wrong. If so pl see a Urologist. Trust is very personal as is medical knowledge -so I cant comment on those
