If sexual abstinence does not cause health issues then why do doctors tell their patients with prostatitis to ejaculate more regularly? thanks

Reduce symptoms?: Some patients report and some urologists believe sexual release helps reduce prostatitis symptoms. There are no good data on this and frankly I doubt it makes an important difference. But it can't hurt.
