Were th tests done by the same labs? By the same examiner? We can't be sure of technicians' experience and expertise in intricate tests. Your physician or rheumatologist, who knows your symptoms and physical findings are best qualified to assess the presence of autoimmune disease here. Only a small percentage of people with positive ANA results are proven to have connective tissue disorders.

All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, the variation is within the usual variation of results on repeating. You may wish to consult a rheumatologist. Wish you good health!
