I have noticed some swollen lymph node on my neck lately and have tested negative for hiv with 4th generation lab test at 6 months should i retest or seek other reasons for this? just trying to get some proper information since the web is everywhere?

You did not get HIV from the episode 6 months ago. You may feel the nodes every couple of weeks, if any of the lymph glands doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor. Wish you good health!
