Alcohol in moderation is safe for all antibiotics, including doxycycline, and does not interfere with antibiotic effectiveness.

To my knowledge there is no interaction between the doxycycline and alcohol. The only interaction would be if you were drinking milk or a calcium based food, it might slow the absorption of the doxycycline.
