Sometimes i jolt awake gasping for air in the night. i am always tired. is it possible i could have sleep apnea, even if i dont snore?

Yes. Sleep apnea is one of the more unrecognized disorders in adults. Feeling tired in spite of sleeping a standard amount is a common feature. The bodies defensed don't allow you to reach the deepest and most recuperative stages of sleep because they trigger apnea & triggers a rescue response. Get evaluated & if your doc considers it a good investment get a sleep study.
