Advil cold and sinus contains phenylephrine, a nasal decongestant. This is preferred medication over anti-histamines like Claritin and Sudafed. Theoretically they can decrease milk supply, but no data exists in humans. Best alternatives for congestion symptoms are using a humidifier or nasal irrigation.
