So my mri of thoracic shows ectasia of the central canal in the upper to mid cervical spinal cord what does this mean?

Ectasia in this description means a widening of the central canal. What that means in a specific case must be interpreted by the docs who ordered the study and have all the relevant history/exam and test findings.

Cervical MRI shows various degrees of central canal narrowing, foraminal narrowing, herniations ect. Does no abnormal spinal cord signal mean no Myelopathy? There is no mention of myelopathy in the MRI report. Thanks.
