Call your doctor: If a small child is wheezing, this needs to be evaluated by a doctor. Many young children will be raspy with cold viruses, but wheezing can get worse and be a real problem for little ones.

See below: Not sure what your question is. There are a variety of reasons your child could be on antibiotics. If you are having further concerns about his symptoms, most specifically, his wheezing, then i would recommend you take him back to his physician to be re-evaluated.

Not from teething: Although lots of parents report congestion when teething, there is no scientific evidence to support that finding. Your little one probably has a virus and it should resolve after a few days.

Not related: Wheezing and congestion may be due to bacteria (which antibiotic will help...Make sure to give the full course of the drug) or virus, which antibiotic will not help. As we're talking about airway, watch child closely. If wheezing and congestion do not get better, or worsen, get him back to pediatrician. The teething will just make him fussier, but will not affect airway. See pedodontist 4 info.
