Sometimes when you have a respiratory illness, like a cold, secretions from your nose can drain more to one side than the other. This can result in a lymph node on that side becoming larger than the others. If this lymph node becomes much more painful and tender than others, you should see your doctor to check it. If it returns to normal after the cold, it is likely reacting to the viral infection

What you described is not a cause for concern and you can watch and wait. You may feel the nodes every couple of weeks, if any of the lymph glands doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor. Wish you good health!
