You should see a doctor for some antibiotic eye drops. This can be conjunctivitis-is your eye also red? A doctor needs to examine your eye and prescribe antibiotic eye drops to treat the infection. If you wear contact lenses, you should take them out and wear glasses until the infection resolves. Best of luck to you!

The localized inflammation and lid margin exudative release absent conjunctivitis suggests that this is a spontaneously draining chalzion. Warm compresses and oral Augmentin &, absent prompt resolution, triage to an Opthamologist; sooner if visual changes occur. The lesion should not be manually manipulated. Topical antibiotic (garamycin) to the lid margin would likely be beneficial.
