If your child has been breast fed, sometimes your period will be delayed. Without a normal cycle, ovulation and conception are rarely occurring. If you are not breastfeeding, you should see a GYN doctor if you do not have a period after stopping breastfeeding for more than 3 months.

Yes. If you have sex at the appropriate time at the first ovulation, you could find yourself pregnant without having had a period. Take prenatal vitamins and establish contact with an obstetrician for antenatal care. Wish you good health!
