Is it safe to swim in a public pool right after an insulin injection on the abdomen? if not, how long should i wait before jumping into the pool?

The chlorine in the pool does have fairly good antibacterial action. Insulin injections done at home have been shown to have much safer technique than those administered at home. If the insulin injection was done at the pool I recommend waiting until the injection site shows no bleeding or open appearance before going into the pool.
