Exam needed: Persistent abdominal pain with associated tenderness is suspicious of an inflammatory process such is seen in appendicitis, inflamed gall bladder, pancreatitis,diverticulitis, incarcerated hernia. You should be examined in the emergency room where proper testing is immediately available.
