How can i tell if a dull aching and sometimes throbbing pain in one of the testes is potentially testicular torsion? it feels off like the testicle is rotated forward?

Torsion is sharp & severe. It occurs acutely, not indolently over days to weeks. It is not subtle.

Testicular torsion is sudden occurrence with severe pain. Partial rotation can cause your symptoms. Wear a good scrtal support underwear. If symptoms persist you will need to be examined by a Urologist. Good luck
