A member asked:

Hi, is chronic lyme disease a medical fact or a myth?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably a misnamed and misunderstood health condition(s). Time will tell. Currently, there is no agreed upon clinical definition for chronic Lyme disease. Most patients with a diagnosis of chronic Lyme disease have no evidence of Lyme disease. Persistent symptoms during recovery from Lyme disease are not active infection.
