You've got untreated, infected residual roots. Surgery is safe, but are you on antibiotics for the infection? You are under the care of a dentist, have them manage your pain and infection.

Risk of damage to other organ systems (brain, heart, kidneys, etc.), and even your life, from the foci of infection is much, much greater than the surgical procedure itself.
