A member asked:

Generally speaking, is it okay to diet/ lose weight if you are not fully grown? at what age do you stop growing?

If you look in the mirror & see an overweight female, weight reduction, if done in a healthy fashion is recommended. However, if you're not truly overweight, reducing food intake, especially while still growing, is harmful. Consulting a dietician at your local hospital would be worthwhile or see your physician first for advice.
