A member asked:

I have chronic neck pain for over a decade. i had spinal fusion in 2014 that didnt help the neck pain (but it did help my migraines). people tell me i should try a spinal cord stimulator. but, tens units dont help. would the stimulator work?

Spinal stimulators are significant, complex, and costly devices, and provide no guaranteed success. These usually reserved for poorly managed severe pain cases where all other options are exhausted. If you wish to pursue this, see an anesthesiologist who specializes in pain management and has experience with these devices. Some neurosurgeons also handle these cases.
