If you have a tooth infection, you can take pen vk for a week, but more importantly, you should have the offending tooth treated so that you don't have any undue stress on your unborn baby. Make sure you talk to your ob-gyn and have your dentist and ob-gyn be in communication. If u need one, see a dental specialist.

Not that concern: It's always best for the mother to be healthy in every way, for her and her unborn child. Have your treating dentist consult with your obstetrician concerning all needed dental treatment and medications. It is much worse to let your dental health go untreated for both you and your child. Most dental work can be done safely for everyone as long as certain precautions are adhered to.
