Ive been taking 65 mg of iron for a month because i heard it helps you sleep better. my coworker just told me that taking that much iron can be toxic. did i already do damage to myself? should i get checked out for iron toxicity?

The amount of iron you are ingesting could lead to toxicity, and should be discontinued. Have your doctor check serum iron, TIBC, ferritin, etc to objectify your status. Iron supplementation has no effect on sleep.
