If the surgery for a "torn meniscus" with "bone on bone" knee pain involves laparoscopic surgery, the healing time with some physical therapy (PT) is one to two weeks on average. If the surgery at age "67" was a total knee replacement, the PT is immediate and requires weeks of therapy with considerable pain during the rehab process.
