Normal veins are not palpable. You may be feeling the spermatic cord. Veins on the surface are normal.

It does not sound usual. The best is to get your findings checked by a Urologist to rule out a condition called Varicocele and if any treatment is needed. In the meantime wear a good support underwear. Good luck
