Over the past 5 years i have had chronically enlarged tonsils, an asymmetric enlarged submandibular gland and nodes, and a swallow test showed a motility disorder. can these all be related and be being. aided by something systemic?

There are probably more than one issues. If your tonsils have not increased in size in 5 years, that rules out a tumor. For the lymph nodes in the neck - You may feel the nodes every couple of weeks, if any of the lymph glands doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor.
