A member asked:

When you break a bone, e.g., ankle, wrist, finger will arthritis develop at the joint or where the break occurred? why?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not necessarily. Many breaks nit with no long-term consequences. If your individual factors, make you prone to any form of arthritis like age, estrogen loss in females or those with auto-immune arthritic conditions may have increased risk of developing an arthritic joint/bone.
