Is it getting better or persisting and heavy? May be stress, may be miscarriage, or threatened miscarriage of due to fibroids, or polycystic ovarian syndrome if you have irregular periods. Would follow up with gyn you need a blood count as you can get very anemic from period bleeding and possibly an ultrasound to evaluate the uterus.

IF pregnancy is possible, obtain a serum HCG test, as pregnancy outside the uterus (ectopic) can occur. See your GYN physician for an exam and other testing. If your periods have been otherwise regular (24-32 days apart), bleeding can occur from other causes as well.
