Well, first: Its not uncommon to have bleeding when initiating a contraceptive. Bleeding and pain after intercourse, however, would prompt suspicion for an infection of the cervix. Did u have pain prior to the ring? It is soft material and most people tolerate it well. It could be a uti, consider seeing yoour doc, especially if pain is new onset. Good luck.
