Pericarditis Px : After an episode of acute uncomplicated pericardiits most can return to normal activity. A period of initial rest is recommended. Activity can be restarted as symptoms subside. About a 1/4 with acute pericarditis may have persistent or recurrent disease, frequently pericardial effusion. Colchicine reduces the risk.Seeing your dr. Is important as pericarditis can be associated with infections & ctd.
