Contact your regular doc for a referral to a life coach that can teach you methods for stress relief and relaxation. During the process they can assess your need for any med help and co-manage the issues with your doc. Do mthe work and you may be able to get past this drug free.

Agree it is best to avoid medication. Cognitive behavioral therapy has seemed effective and biofeedback can be added. Aerobic exercise and meditation seem also helpful
