If the discomfort is not primarily in the anorectal area but in the perineum ( between the anus and scrotum) it may be from congestion/ mild inflammation of the prostate gland. A thrombosed external hemorrhoid is quite painful. If symptoms persist I recommend a rectal examination by your physician or urologist.

Highly unlikely. Suggest soothe hemorrhoids with OTC cream/ointment, sitz baths avoid hard stools. Good luck
