My husband was diagnosed with mild central sleep apnea. he is 36, maybe 10lbs overweight at mostpossibly has gout. i read csa is related to heart failure and other serious issues. does this likely mean he has an undiagnosed serious health issue?

Sleep apnea can be readily controlled through several nocturnal devices. Weight loss might help. There can be several risks if not treated, but that does not mean that these have already arrived. The current health issue is sleep apnea, and appropriate intervention is your best prevention for future cardiovascular health.
