Ablation destroys the uterine lining producing scarring that prevents the buildup of the material needed to support a pregnancy. You can conceive in this setting, but that material would shed. The lack of menses for 5 years implies it does what it was supposed to do. In medicine we never say never, but the possibility approaches zero.
