A member asked:

Should you not take birth control if you have a stent due to risk for blood clot?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

You should practice birth control if you do not wish to get pregnant. There are other modalities of birth control, e.g., IUD, diaphragm, spermicidal jelly and a combination of these measures.
