A member asked:

Few foci of pathological t2 signal in the subcortical and white matter of both hemispheres, attributed to chronic ischemic changes. foci of low t1 signal without pathological enrichment or limitation of diffusion in the left hemisphere of the cerebel?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not clear what question you are posing. But images show nonspecific T2 lesions, and microvascular angiopathy is but one possibility (smoking, and migraine, are a few of the others). The T1 lesion likely represents a prior lacunar stroke. Have your doctor check risk factors and treat preventively as indicated.
