Mycoplasma genitalium positive ngu. i can't take moxifloxacin due to ehlers danlos syndrome and other contradiction. i'm scared of azithromycin due to the qtc warning. i have a resting heart rate of 40 and qtc 425. what shall i do?

M gen testing criteria and treatment are complex, difficult to respond on this forum w/ tweet-length replies. Discuss with a GUM expert, e.g. NHS GUM clinic. Azithromycin alone might be effective. If ineffective or known AZM resistant, doxycycline 1 week followed by moxifloxacin is advised (one after the other, not together). Many with long QTc can safely take moxi, but...
